Your wedding, your way

Winslade Manor is a Grade II* listed Georgian mansion, restored and set in 86 acres of parkland on the edge of Exeter. Couples come to us for two quite different days: an intimate wedding with the Manor to themselves, or a big celebration in The Forge. Either way, our events team plans it with you and our kitchen cooks for it. Dates go early, so get in touch or call 01392 640644 to check yours.

The Manor

The dining room, lounge, bar and terrace run on from one another from the entrance hall, and look out across the lawn. Book the whole Manor and it’s yours for the day: up to 40 for a seated wedding breakfast, or 70 to 80 for something more relaxed.

The Forge

The Forge is a large, open function space that you can dress however you like. It seats 100 to 150 for the wedding breakfast and holds up to 250 for the evening party, with a roof terrace and a courtyard for the toasts.

Drinks and canapés

Drinks and canapés on the Manor terrace, with the countryside behind you, are a good way to start the afternoon. Bring out the lawn games if the weather’s kind.

The wedding breakfast

Our head chef will build your menu around the season and local produce, from canapés through to evening food. You can go formal with three plated courses, or choose sharing boards for a more relaxed feast.

The ceremony

Clyst St Mary Church is a few minutes from the Manor if you’d like a church wedding.
