Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You should have a passion for the food and beverage industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant’s operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers and support staff, to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that customer needs and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Handle cashing up and closing responsibilities, including reconciling cash registers, preparing daily sales reports, and depositing cash in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including customer service, food and beverage preparation, and health and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities, with the capacity to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
