Restaurant Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You should have a passion for the food and beverage industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant's operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Train, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers and support staff, to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.

Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that customer needs and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.

Handle cashing up and closing responsibilities, including reconciling cash registers, preparing daily sales reports, and depositing cash in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.

Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including customer service, food and beverage preparation, and health and safety standards.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Outstanding communication and customer service abilities, with the capacity to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
